Phulkari-Flower Embroidery

Another beautiful style called Phulkari it means flower-embroidery it is a form of craft, that most widely used for dupattas or shawls,this beautiful embroidery has converted simple duppattas and shawls into most beautiful and stylish one it is also known as Bagh. Phulkaris and baghs are most widely worn by Sikh and Hindu women, basically in Punjab it is favourite of every woman and they would like to wear it during marriages, festivals and all kinds of celebrations, the women use to make embroideries themselves and it is purely and finely a domestic art, this flower work is specially done by mothers and Grandmothers for their daughters.
